Contracts Manager - GloucesterAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a highly respected, award-winning contractor based in the Gloucester area. With a long-standing reputation for delivering quality projects, this company offers stability, progression, and the chance to work on a wide range of schemes.

The Role

As a Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing multiple General Works projects, typically valued up to £1m. These schemes will include both refurbishment and new build projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, and retail sectors.You will report directly to a Director and be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesManaging multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish

Leading site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Overseeing health and safety compliance across all sites

Reporting regularly to the Director on progress and performance

The Ideal CandidateProven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager with a track record of managing refurbishment and/or new build projects

Experience working on projects up to £1m in value

Strong organisational and leadership skills

Commercially aware with excellent communication abilities

Based within commutable distance of Gloucester
