Contracts Manager - Local Authority Property Services | Remedial Repairs

Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to -75,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in Local Authority Property Services, Housing or the Public Sector? Do you have a proven track record delivering remedial repairs, planned maintenance and property improvement programmes, with exposure to Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) projects?

We''re recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of remedial repair projects across a public sector property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational, commercial and client management experience who understands the demands of working within a Local Authority environment.

• Manage remedial repairs, planned maintenance and compliance-led projects from inception through to completion.
• Support the delivery of FRA remedial works and wider building safety programmes.
• Build strong relationships with Local Authority stakeholders, contractors and internal teams.
• Oversee budgets, programmes and contract performance to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage subcontractors, resources and site teams across multiple projects.
• Ensure works meet quality standards and comply with health and safety and statutory requirements.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues and provide regular progress and financial reporting.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within Local Authority Property Services, Housing or the Public Sector.
• Strong knowledge of remedial repairs, planned maintenance and property services.
• Experience delivering or supporting FRA remedial projects and an understanding of building safety and compliance requirements.
• Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and contract performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
