Contracts Manager – Structural Alterations

Location: London / Projects across London
Rate: £500–£550 per day, depending on experience
Bonus: Annual performance bonus
Employment: Self-Employed / Limited Company

We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established specialist contractor delivering structural alteration and complex construction projects across London.

This is a senior position with responsibility for managing 3–4 projects simultaneously, reporting directly to a Director.

The Role

• Manage 3–4 live projects simultaneously
• Oversee Project Managers and site teams across multiple sites
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Manage programmes using ASTA Powerproject
• Work closely with Tier 1 Main Contractors and key stakeholders
• Manage contractual requirements across JCT and NEC contracts
• Monitor project performance, programmes, commercial issues and delivery
• Report directly to a Director

Experience Required

• Ideally 5–6+ years' experience as a Contracts Manager
• Senior Project Managers ready to step up into a Contracts Manager position will also be considered
• 8+ years' experience within structural alterations
• Strong background working for a specialist subcontractor rather than a Main Contractor
• Experience delivering projects for Tier 1 Main Contractors
• Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Experience using ASTA Powerproject is essential
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
