Contracts Manager

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of social housing planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes. As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the operational, commercial and contractual performance of a portfolio of contracts, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple social housing planned maintenance, cyclical decorating and refurbishment contracts. Take contracts from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to specification. Lead and manage Supervisors, Site Managers, operatives, subcontractors and supply-chain partners. Oversee internal and external painting, decorating and wider planned maintenance works, ensuring quality and specification requirements are met. Monitor contract budgets, expenditure, profitability, variations, valuations, applications for payment and forecasting. Manage client relationships with Housing Associations and Local Authorities, attending performance meetings and reporting against KPIs and SLAs. Monitor programme performance, productivity, quality, snagging and successful handover of works. Ensure works are delivered in line with relevant Health and Safety, RAMS and compliance requirements.
