Contracts Manager (Groundworks)

Our client one of the regions leading Groundworks subcontractors, due to continued growth and development they are now actively looking to bolster there team with the addition of a new Contracts Manager. About the Role Experienced and driven Groundworks Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects simultaneously Lead project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions where necessary Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and senior management to provide regular updates Review and negotiate contracts, variations, and procurement schedules Drive quality assurance and ensure all works meet required specifications Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Requirements Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within groundworks or civil engineering Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure works Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively Strong commercial awareness and contract management ..... full job details .....
