Contracts Manager - Ground Investigation

Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of ground investigation projects from its regional office in Harrogate. This permanent leadership role would suit someone with a background in geology, geotechnical engineering or a related discipline who can combine people leadership, commercial awareness and hands-on project oversight across a cross-sector environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, creating a supportive, collaborative and high-performing working environmentProvide direction, coaching and mentoring to Project Managers and engineering teamsOversee the successful delivery of multiple ground investigation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within budgetCoordinate resources, support project planning and review technical outputs to maintain high standards of quality and complianceBuild strong working relationships with clients, internal teams, technical specialists and other stakeholdersChampion health, safety, environmental and quality standards through audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiativesManage contract performance, cost control, forecasting, profitability and the effective use of operational resourcesSupport recruitment, staff development, business development and the identification of new commercial opportunitiesJob Requirements:Experience in a Contracts Manager, operational management or senior project delivery role within ground investigation or ..... full job details .....
