Contracts Manager

My client are a well-established, reputable Main Contractor who are well established and work nationally on a mixture of fast track fit outs within the retail and banking sector, as well as design & build projects across the commercial sector.

They have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, working within their Fit Out division and managing retail fit out projects nationally.

The company work on roll outs with a number of large clients across the UK in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors, working on a mixture of Fit Out and Refurbishment (internal and external) projects.

The Construction Manager would work closely with senior management, and would be responsible for managing a variety of contracts at high level.

Your duties will include:

• Programme delivery and planning
• Regular liaison with the client and contract reporting
• Building internal and external relationships
• Providing regular progress updates and resolving any issues as and when they arise
• Overall staff responsibility and man management of a team of Site Managers, Assistants Site Managers, and Foremen and direct and subcontract plant and trades.
• Ensuring high standards of Health and Safety

The successful applicant will come from a Main Contractor background and have experience of delivering multiple contracts across the Leisure/Commercial/Retail Fit Out sectors.

Please note - travel across the UK will be required as part of this role

The company will offer a competitive basic salary of up to -70k plus package.
