Contracts Manager - Retrofit Delivery

Join our Clients dedicated team as a Contracts Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering our retrofit programme, a key component of our Homes and Place strategy. This role involves working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to manage contracts effectively, ensuring they are executed in line with agreed terms and conditions to maximize commercial value and benefits.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and oversee the successful delivery of retrofit projects, ensuring compliance with PAS2030/2035 standards.
- Manage all aspects of contract administration, performance monitoring, and financial oversight to ensure project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and value for money.
- Ensure adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and legislative requirements, keeping up to date with industry best practices.
- Work closely with external consultants and contractors to review and provide feedback on retrofit design proposals.
- Monitor and enforce on-site compliance with health and safety legislation and contract specifications.
- Maintain responsibility for data management within the asset management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal data governance policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external contractors to ensure an integrated approach to project delivery.
- Manage the Clerk of Works team, focusing on high performance and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in project delivery to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary contracts in a large and complex organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of building regulations, PAS documents specifically 2035/2030/63100, NICIEC, MCS, and British Standards.
- Proven track record of success in contract management.
- Ability to inspire, support, and develop others to optimize their performance.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation focused on compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
