About the client

They are a UK leader in passive fire protection, specialising in fire stopping, fire door installation and inspections, and fire compartmentation works. We support clients across commercial, healthcare, residential, government, and education sectors-delivering compliance, quality workmanship, and safety above all.



Role Overview

The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple passive fire protection projects from inception to completion. This includes managing client relationships, ensuring compliance and quality, controlling budgets, and leading project teams. The role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills, and a detailed understanding of fire protection compliance.



Key Responsibilities



Project & Contract Management

  • Oversee the delivery of multiple projects across allocated regions or sectors.

  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Prepare and review project documentation including programmes, schedules, and contract variations.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide support to Site Managers and Supervisors



Qualifications

  • CSCS Managerial/Professional card (preferred).

  • SMSTS certification (required).

  • FIRAS, BM TRADA, or similar accreditation (desirable).

  • First Aid at Work (desirable).
