The Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects from pre-construction to completion
• Ensure projects meet programme, budget, and quality requirements
• Manage site teams including Site Managers and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress, performance, and risk
• Work with commercial team on budgets, cost control, and reporting
• Review valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Promote a strong safety culture across all sites
• Act as key client and consultant contact
• Maintain stakeholder relationships
• Lead project meetings and provide updates
• Oversee project programmes and milestone delivery
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery
• Lead, mentor, and support site teams

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in main contracting
• Experience delivering residential and/or commercial projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of construction processes, contracts (e.g., JCT), and regulations
• Commercial awareness and financial management skills
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills
• SMSTS and CSCS (Black/Gold card preferred)
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
