My client is a regional contractor based up in the North West, with extensive experience managing projects ranging from andpound;750,000 to andpound;10 million in value.
Specialising in Education, Leisure, Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential sectors, the client successfully delivers Design andamp; Build projects, traditional contracts, and partnering frameworks.

Responsibilities:
andbull; Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail for the site manager/operatives to deliver the scheme without delays.
andbull; Ensure the site team comply with company commercial policies and procedures.
andbull; Attend tender handover meetings and deliver prestart meetings to the site team.
andbull; Produce and Analyse progress reports, updated costs and forecasts.
andbull; Chair and attend internal/external meetings ensuring accurate records are made of any discussions and actions.
andbull; Ensure weekly reviews of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out.
andbull; Ensure effective Health andamp; Safety is always met.
andbull; Organising employed labour, encouraging maximum productivity.
andbull; Liaising with architects, surveyors and clients
Skills and Experience Required:
andbull; Relevant experience in education, commercial and refurbishment projects with values between andpound;500K to andpound;10M.
andbull; Experience in both the management of Traditional andamp; Dandamp;B Contracts.
andbull; Experience of working for a principal contractor.
andbull; Experience of Pre-Qualification and Tendering Process for a number of multi discipline projects.
andbull; Good knowledge of contract conditions, regulations, risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.
andbull; CSCS Management Card, SMSTS, First Aid, Temp works etc.
andbull; Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor
