Contracts Manager

A successful family-owned building company that specialises in insurance repairs is looking for a Contracts Manager to join its established team due to new long-term contracts. 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy office in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the supervision of multiple insurance claims, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to policyholders’ satisfaction. 

As Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion
- Managing in-house tradesmen and subcontractors
- Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs
- Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs
- Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradesmen
- Office based planning and communications.

We are looking for a Contracts Manager who has the following skills and experience:

- Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role with a strong background in building trades.
- Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage, however not essential and they provide an onboarding process and suitable training.
- Excellent communication skills within the team environment
- Experience in a similar customer facing role within the building trade is advantageous
- Experience running a team of trades people would be an advantage.
- HandS knowledge

The role would be a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson to move from on the tools to in the office environment. 

In return, you will receive a company van, and a salary of up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience (hourly paid based on 42.50-hour standard week 07:00-16:00, Monday-Friday (hours negotiable)).
