Overview

Contracts Manager – Cambridgeshire, Suffolk. Salary £70K - £90K per year. Posted 08/09/2025. General Build projects across Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial and Residential sectors. Location: Ipswich / Cambridge.Responsibilities

Manage 3-5 projects at any one time, overseeing contractual matters and progression against programme.Report to Senior Site Managers / Project Managers and liaise with client and project team.Ensure programmes are delivered on time and to specification, coordinating multi-site operations.Oversee on-site sub-contractors and ensure alignment with safety and quality standards.Projects

Projects include new build/refurbishment and extensions across Educational facilities, new build small residential developments, new build industrial sheds, and refurbishments of live hospital wards, among others.Skills / Experience

Autonomy for on-site activities, reporting directly to the Director.High level of practical knowledge of employment, Health and Safety and relevant legislation.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish; able to programme works and oversee operations across multiple sites.Experience liaising with clients and project teams; effective coordination with Senior Site Managers / Project Managers.Experience in managing on-site sub-contractors.Planning and organisational skills; ability to deliver complex programmes.Proven longevity with previous employers.Must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.How to Apply
