This is a full-time office-based role for a Contracts Manager at our location in Southend-On-Sea. The candidate chosen will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, between £500k - £4m. The Contracts Manager''s key accountabilities will include collaborating with clients, leading projects, and working effectively with both subcontractors and internal staff to ensure the smooth running of projects.Responsibilities
Oversee projects from start to finish, with project values between £500k and £4m.Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and expectations.Lead projects and coordinate work with subcontractors and internal staff to ensure smooth delivery.Monitor progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion.Integrate into a small, family-run business and adapt to its processes and culture.Qualifications
Driving licenseStrong knowledge of JCT contractsIndustry experience in project managementProficient in cost controlStrong negotiation skillsProficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specificationsKnowledge of construction materials and methodsExcellent organisational and time management skillsExperience managing a teamStrong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsBachelor’s degree in construction management or a related fieldKnowledge/experience in quantity surveying will be considered an assetAn attractive package available, to be discussed with successful ..... full job details .....
