Responsibilities

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40hrs)
• Manage day-to-day delivery of reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) contracts.
• Ensure all work meets agreed SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Oversee job allocation, progress tracking, and completion via internal systems.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and specialist subcontractors, ensuring performance, compliance, and productivity.
• Act as the main point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and handling escalations professionally.
• Monitor commercial performance, including job costs, labour, subcontractor spend, and contract margins.
• Review and approve quotes, variations, and additional works; support accurate invoicing with accounts teams.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety legislation, reviewing RAMS and supporting safe systems of work.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, enhancing service delivery, and contributing to business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, or similar FM role.
• Strong background in reactive maintenance and/or facilities management.
• Experience managing engineers, subcontractors, and multi-trade projects.
• Skilled in SLA/KPI-driven environments.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and commercial skills.
• Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Exceptional client communication and relationship management abilities.
• Proficiency with CAFM systems or job management platforms.o
