Contracts Manager

An established construction company based in Loughton, Essex is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a range of refurbishment and planned works projects across the education and local authority sectors. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Projects will include school refurbishment schemes and council housing refurbishment projects, with individual contract values of up to approximately 5m. The Role As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery and commercial performance of multiple projects, working closely with clients, consultants, site teams, subcontractors and senior management. Key responsibilities will include: Managing multiple refurbishment projects from mobilisation through to completion Overseeing projects within the education and local authority sectors Managing contracts with values of up to 5m Providing leadership and support to Site Managers and project teams Managing programmes, ensuring projects remain on schedule Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site-based teams Maintaining strong relationships with clients and consultants Attending progress meetings and providing regular project updates Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contract ..... full job details .....
