NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Administrator to join our small, specialist and hardworking team. Provide support to 284 community pharmacies across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This post is for 37 hrs (f/t) per week on a permanent basis.We are looking for candidates who are proactive and enthusiastic to join our team. You should be able to work in a busy environment, sometimes under pressure. The ability to organise, prioritise, problem solve, and focus are important.You will need to be a people person with strong listening skills with the ability to understand and consider the needs of others.Responsibilities
Provide support to 284 community pharmacies across Greater Glasgow and Clyde.Work in a busy environment, sometimes under pressure; organise, prioritise, problem solve, and focus.Be a proactive member of a small, specialist team.Qualifications and Requirements
SVQ Level III in Administration or demonstrable experience.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.Experience of working in an NHS environment with an understanding/experience of NHS networks is essential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team; recent experience of supervising an administration staff group.Ability to work unsupervised using own initiative; ability to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising workload; flexibility to adapt to change and last-minute demands.Additional Information
