About the Role
Manpower UK seeks a Contractor Escort at HMP Durham or HMP Frankland. Working 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 4.30pm, the postholder supervises contractors within the prison estate, maintaining security and ensuring safe movement throughout the site. Strong observational skills, reliability and the ability to follow strict procedures are essential. This temporary contract runs until July 2027, paying up to £13.45 per hour, with overtime rates reaching £23.54. The successful candidate will help uphold safety and trust across essential justice work, supporting daily operations while protecting both staff and visitors. Previous experience in a secure setting proves advantageous, though full training is provided.
