Contract Surveyor

This is a key position in the Investment Team supporting the Contract Manager in taking responsibility and leading on the delivery of a variety of the group''s investment projects to pre-defined time, quality and cost criteria within the group''s investment plan.

Description

• Conduct property surveys and inspections to assess conditions and maintenance needs.
• Prepare and manage contracts for construction and repair projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the property industry.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address any arising issues effectively.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation for all survey and project activities.
• Offer expert advice on property maintenance and improvement strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper budget management for assigned projects.

Profile

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will be an effective communicator with the ability to liaise with all stakeholders. They should have a detailed knowledge of building construction, a track record of contract and budget management, CDM & Asbestos Regulations and a good understanding of the decent homes standard.

Further requirements:

• Proven experience in the property or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of surveying practices and contract management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the construction sector.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
