Contract Software TesterDay Rate: 325- 350 per dayDuration: 4 monthsIR35 Status: Inside IR35Location: Hybrid Working. 1 day per week in London or Manchester office.We are currently supporting a highly recognised end client in the search for a Contract Software Tester. This role will sit within an Agile delivery environment and play a key part in defining, driving, and implementing robust test strategies across complex digital products. The successful contract Software Tester will act as the QA representative within an agile squad, championing quality across the full delivery lifecycle and ensuring both functional and non-functional requirements are met to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Design, communicate, and implement test strategies and approachesCollaborate with technical leads to understand requirementsBuild and contribute to automated test frameworksIdentify, troubleshoot, and investigate critical defects and root causesProduce clear and concise test evidence and reportingCommunicate status updates and risks to technical and delivery stakeholdersEssential Skills:Strong experience in automated RESTful API testingHands-on experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)Strong understanding of coding practices and software engineering principlesExcellent communication skills with experience managing cross-team issuesJavaScript and Java programming experienceExperience with Rest Assured and CucumberStrong experience with Gatling and ScalaAWS experience ..... full job details .....
