Contract Quality Inspector
Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting a range of machined and fabricated components. Quality Inspector 6 Month ContractRate Dependent ExperienceDay ShiftDerby Quality InspectorJob Description To carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations. Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making quality decisions. To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured. To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products - New Product Introduction (NPI). Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans.
