Role: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Stratford-upon-Avon - Hybrid/Remote Contract Length: 3 Months +Start Date: ASAPRate: £40.00 to £50.00 per hour - Outside IR35We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of high-quality engineered products used within a safety critical environment.This role will focus on the design and development of High Pressure Die Cast (HPDC) components, working closely with a small cross-functional team to deliver robust, manufacturable designs.Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical design and development of components and assembliesDesign of High Pressure Die Cast (HPDC) productsProducing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk InventorEnsuring designs meet relevant industry standards and compliance requirementsDesigning for hazardous area environments, considering certification requirementsRequired ExperienceProven experience as a Mechanical Design EngineerStrong experience designing HPDC componentsProficiency with Autodesk InventorExperience working with hazardous area standards such as ATEX, IECEx, CEC, or NEC is highly desirableStrong understanding of manufacturability and engineering best practicesThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to technically challenging projects with a collaborative engineering team.If you are interested, please apply with your CV or contact us for more details. ..... full job details .....
