Job Title: Contract Mechanical Design EngineerContract Mechanical Design EngineerImmediate start availableDuration: 3 months Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor or SolidWorks experience to undertake a technically varied role in support of a key project.We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Inventor or SolidWorks to work on a New Product Development project, undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life cycle.As Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :Undertake Mechanical Design of New Product Development (complete product life cycle)Undertake detailed designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)Concept GenerationProduce Documentation to support DevelopmentKnowledge of manufacturing methods The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have; Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment (Ideally 4-5 years min)Experience working on instrumentation or complex bespoke equipment/machinery3D CAD - SolidWorks or InventorFull Product Life-cycle Design Experience.
