Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Manager specializing in shopfitting projects to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of contractual agreements related to shopfitting works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your leadership will drive collaboration between clients, suppliers, and internal teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. Duties

  • Manage the end-to-end contract process for shopfitting projects, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and ongoing administration.
  • Lead project planning efforts using tools like Microsoft Project to develop schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress effectively.
  • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Negotiate terms and resolve contractual disputes or issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and project momentum.
  • Oversee compliance with legal standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize organizational skills to track project milestones, budgets, change orders, and documentation meticulously.
  • Drive leadership within the team by motivating staff, managing performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience

  • Proven management experience in construction or shopfitting industries with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of successfully securing favorable contract terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with specialized project management software such as Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in contract administration and documentation.
  • Construction experience is highly desirable, providing insight into technical requirements and industry standards.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Valid driving license is preferred for site visits and client meetings; IT literacy is essential for daily operations.
