Contract Manager12 Month ContractWarwick (2 days onsite) Job PurposeThe Contract Manager sits within the UJV Operations team and is responsible for ensuring contracts are in place with the supply chain and that suppliers are ready to deliver operational requirements. About the RoleThe role is responsible for managing a portfolio of operational contracts, ensuring effective supply chain management, appropriate contracting strategies, and mitigation of business risks through strong commercial agreements. The role requires close collaboration with the wider Contract Management Team, stakeholders, and suppliers.Key AccountabilitiesLead development and drafting of complex, operationally critical contractsOwn and manage a portfolio of complex contractsAct as lead commercial representative for spot tenders and framework awardsProvide assurance of contracts and cost evaluationSupport budgeting and cost control processesLead contract performance reviews using KPIs and SLAsProvide guidance on complex contract mattersResolve contractual discrepanciesLead resolution of commercial, contractual and supplier performance issuesDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategiesReview and challenge processes to drive improvementsProvide training and coachingKnowledge, Experience and Technical Know HowExpert knowledge of contract and supplier relationship managementExperience using Contract Management Systems (CMS) and invoicing/payment systemsStrong understanding of contract lawExcellent ..... full job details .....
