Contract Manager

The RoleOur client, a well-established civil engineering contractor operating across the North West, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects. The projects will be mainly be based in the North West but the company does operate nationwide so will involve travel at times. This is a key senior position responsible for managing contracts from pre-start through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple civil engineering and groundworks contracts across the regionOversee site teams, subcontractors and supply chain performanceAdminister contracts (JCT / NEC where applicable), including variations and final accountsProgramme planning, progress monitoring and cost controlEnsure full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental standardsReview RAMS, issue permits and ensure safe systems of workClient, consultant and stakeholder liaisonDrive value engineering and cost efficienciesSupport commercial teams with valuations and reportingResolve technical, commercial and programme challengesRequirementsProven experience as a Contracts Manager within civil engineering / groundworksStrong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contractsExperience managing multiple projects and site teamsSolid understanding of cost control, variations and subcontract managementStrong leadership, ..... full job details .....
