Interim Contract Implementation Manager (Contract Management Frameworks)Location: Wolverhampton (hybrid)Duration: 3 months with possible extensionSector: Local Government / Public SectorOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Contract Implementation Manager to support a Local Authority in designing and embedding a standardised contract management approach across the organisation.This is a high-impact, strategic assignment focused on developing frameworks, policies, training, and tools that will enable effective and consistent contract management practices at scale.This role is not procurement-led; the focus is on contract management governance, capability, and implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop a contract management framework, including policies, procedures, and governance structuresCreate and standardise toolkits, templates, and documentation to support contract management across the organisationDevelop and deliver contract management training, including recorded materials for ongoing useDefine a risk/value-based contract segmentation model (e.g. criticality, complexity, spend)Lead the implementation and embedding of contract management practices across departmentsEstablish a clear operating model for contract ownership and accountabilityEnsure alignment with legislation, including the Procurement Act, and best practiceIncorporate social value, ESG, and local priorities into contract management approachesWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ..... full job details .....
