Contract Gearbox Fitters Experienced Mechanical Fitters wanted for high-paying contract roles specialising in gearbox repair, overhaul, and rotating equipment maintenance. What You ll Be Doing Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial gearboxes Diagnose faults in motors, pumps, and rotating machinery Work from engineering drawings and tight tolerances Carry out precision assembly and overhaul work Support maintenance and breakdown operations on industrial and plant equipment deal Candidates Will Have Mechanical fitting or gearbox overhaul experience Knowledge of industrial, agricultural, or plant machinery Ability to read technical drawings Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Experience with pumps, motors, and rotating equipment Pay and Benefits Competitive rates from £22 to £30 per hour (limited) Overtime available (up to 1.5x rates) Company van on selected roles Door-to-door pay available on some contracts Long-term opportunities for experienced fitters Apply Now Immediate starts available for skilled fitters ready to join growing engineering teams across the UK.
