The company develops advanced safety technologies and is seeking an experienced contractor to support the development of a next-generation product currently entering the beta phase of development. This is a hands-on role focused on firmware development, hardware bring-up, peripheral integration and platform development, working closely with Senior Engineers on a dedicated new product development programme. Key Skills Required - Contract Firmware Engineer Strong Embedded C Firmware Development experience STM32 Bare-Metal Debug & Bring Up Microcontroller Development (STM32, NXP, Renesas, Microchip or similar) Board Support Package (BSP) Development Serial Communications including SPI, I2C, UART and CAN This role is expected to start early October and last 5 months initially with potential for extension.
