Contract - EDS Engineer - Vehicle Electrical Engineering - Potential Long-Term ContractWe are seeking an experienced EDS Engineer for a contract role supporting the design and delivery of vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses across ICE and BEV platforms. This is a hands-on role with full lifecycle responsibility, from concept through to production, within a global engineering environment focused on quality delivery and continuous improvement.Role Overview You will take ownership of vehicle electrical system design, ensuring robust integration and delivery across complex automotive programmes. The role involves close collaboration with global and offshore teams. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnessesOwn electrical system design across ICE and BEV platformsPerform 3D harness routing (HV and LV) using CAD toolsConduct detailed design reviewsSupport resolution of production and field issuesMaintain clear documentation and project trackingCollaborate with global/offshore engineering teamsPromote strong safety, quality, and engineering standards Essential SkillsStrong understanding of schematics and bundle drawingsAutomotive electrical systems and wiring harness experienceStrong communication and coordination skillsOrganised, proactive, and team-focused approachDesirableExperience with Saber ESDExperience with Creo Cabling3D harness routing and packagingKnowledge of electrical architecture / system integrationSix Sigma or ..... full job details .....
