You will join either our Mortgage Enforcement or Lender Sales team and you will be responsible for your own case load of conveyancing files.This opportunity is being paid on a day rate via an Umbrella company. We are looking to speak to individuals in a commutable distance to our Bristol offices as office attendance is required.Your RoleAs a Conveyancer your day to day remit includes:Be responsible for own caseload of conveyancing technical files, referring all legal aspects to the Team Manager when necessary.Ensure that telephone calls are dealt with in a professional manner that full telephone notes are taken and that calls relating to any legal aspects which the Technical Case Handler is unable to deal with are referred to the Team Manager.Regularly update clients and asset managers as to progress of matters.Accompanying management team on client visits and has the knowledge and confidence to contribute to the meeting/training.Be confident in making decisions on technical referrals from the sales teams.Problem solving with facts of the case and be confident to discuss the actions with senior members of the wider team.Keeps up to date with changes in current regulations, policies and procedures and technical aspects of conveyancing process/ sharing with colleagues in the sales teams where appropriate.Your Skills and ExperiencePrevious conveyancing experience is essential for this role.Previous experience of title checking freehold, leasehold and shared ownership properties.Previous experience drafting and providing detailed advice and proposed solutions to clients.Demonstrates a natural empathy/affinity with clients and a good telephone manner, with a clear diction.Excellent spelling and grammar.Demonstrates proactivity and attention to detail.Your TeamOperating from our offices in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast, we have specialist expertise in each UK jurisdiction.
