Contract Business Analyst - Data Strategy

MCS Group is looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Data Strategy Consultant to support the discovery and planning phase of an enterprise data transformation programme. This is a business-facing contract, where you''ll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical architects, helping shape a future-state data strategy.The Role Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand how the organisation currently uses its data, identify opportunities for improvement and define the roadmap for a modern data platform.Running stakeholder workshops across business and technical teamsUnderstanding business processes, data flows and how data is used to support decision makingMapping current-state processes, systems and integrationsDefining future-state business and data requirementsWorking alongside Solution Architects to translate business needs into technical directionSupporting data governance, operating models and ownership frameworksProducing discovery documentation, recommendations and implementation roadmapsEssential Certification (Non-Negotiable)Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - this is an essential requirement for the project.
