Contract Application Operations Engineer

WA Consultants is currently recruiting for an Application Operations Engineer for an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will support a Government client based in Bristol with a large digital transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Maintain regular contact with users to understand their needs and challengesMaintain and build the relationship with the Microsoft migration teamManage and triage incoming migration issuesWork with the Digital Records Management team in managing the AODocs document libraryWork with the Project Delivery team in the migration of data out of Google WorkspaceCreating documentation, processes, training materials, and service desk knowledge base articles, for any important migration issues.Essential skills:Experience in working as third line support in a busy IT support functionExperience in data migrations and migration toolsExperience in using Google Apps Manager commands (GAM)Experience managing SaaS based messaging platforms such as Google and Office 365Experience with, and confident in dealing with, senior stakeholders and VIPs.Desirable skills:Any experience with AD, MS Exchange and Sharepoint is highly beneficialExperience in managing and administering MS Sharepoint and Office 365A good understanding of Change Management Principles in relation to changing of messaging platformExperience in document management systems such as AODocsExperience in managing a large Google Workspace ..... full job details .....
