Contract Management Lead / Category Management Lead (Transformation)Location: BedfordshireRates: 500 to 600 per day Contract: Interim / ContractStart Date: ImmediateWe are seeking an experienced Contract Management Lead or Category Management Lead to support a major transformation programme within a public sector organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished commercial professional with extensive experience of delivering procurement, contract management and category management improvements while embedding sustainable, long-term change across complex organisations.Key responsibilitiesLead strategic commercial transformation initiatives.Deliver improved commercial outcomes through effective governance, process assurance and knowledge transfer.Design and implement contract management strategies, methodologies and frameworks across the organisation.Develop and embed category management methodologies to identify both immediate and long-term savings opportunities.Deliver training, coaching and mentoring programmes to build internal capability.Implement contract segmentation models, including gold, silver and bronze classifications, and establish appropriate management frameworks for each category.Design and introduce standardised templates, guidance documents and processes to ensure consistency across teams.Work closely with procurement teams and senior stakeholders to embed lasting improvements.Essential skills and experienceProven experience leading ..... full job details .....
