Continental Shift Engineer The Role Are you an Shift Engineer looking for your next challenge in one of London s most prestigious skyscrapers? We re looking for an Engineer to join a highly skilled facilities team within a landmark City of London building. You will be either electrically or mechanically biased and have a strong all-round understanding of building services. This is a hands-on leadership role where you ll take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the building, ensuring critical engineering systems are maintained and issues are dealt with quickly and professionally. What You''ll Be Doing Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the building''s MandE systems. Oversee planned and reactive maintenance. Diagnose and respond to mechanical and electrical faults. Manage contractors and specialist subcontractors. Ensure all engineering activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures. Complete shift handovers and maintain accurate engineering records. Respond to plant failures and engineering emergencies. Support the building''s PPM, compliance and statutory requirements. . What We''re Looking For Strong electrical or mechanical engineering background. Good all-round knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building services. Experience working within a commercial office, high-rise, critical environment or similar.
