Contentious Probate Solicitor (1 year PQE)

Overview
Our Contentious Probate Team is led by Partner, Andrew Chandler who you will work closely alongside Partner, Robert Weston, Associate Solicitor, Victoria Wall and our Legal Secretary team Sarah Bone, Caroline Harvey and Pam Davies who are all based at our Kidderminster office. The wider Civil Litigation team also operates from mfg''s Worcester, Birmingham and Bromsgrove offices.Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of civil litigation matters including:Will challengesInheritance claimsExecutor disputes and estate administration issuesDrafting legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and witness statementsProviding clear and practical legal advice to clients at all stages of litigationLiaising with clients, counsel, experts, and other third partiesSupport Partners to devise strategies for achieving client goalsSupport in negotiations with opposing counsel and partiesParticipating in business development to assist with firm growth initiativesQualifications
Proven interest or experience in contentious probate work and/or 1 year PQE in Contentious ProbateStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong client management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a supportive team environmentAbility to work independently and manage a busy caseload with supervisionA client-focused approach and commitment to delivering high standards of serviceTeam player with a proactive and commercial mindsetA proactive approach to business development and marketingAdditional Information
