Contentious Construction Solicitor

We are working with a well-established legal practice seeking a Construction Solicitor to join their growing team. This role will initially focus on contentious construction matters, with the opportunity to gain exposure to non-contentious work over time. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to deliver strategic, commercially focused advice, supporting them through complex disputes while also helping to mitigate risk and avoid disputes where possible.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of contentious construction matters including adjudication, litigation, arbitration, expert determination and mediationAdvise clients on disputes arising under JCT and other construction contractsProvide strategic and commercially focused advice to achieve cost-effective and successful outcomesIdentify legal risks and advise on mitigation strategies in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practiceTake a proactive and innovative approach to dispute avoidance and resolutionSupport non-contentious construction matters where required, including:Drafting and negotiating construction contractsPreparing consultancy appointmentsAdvising on ancillary documentation such as collateral warranties, deeds of novation, parent company guarantees and performance bondsWork collaboratively with other departments including real estate, corporate and finance teams to deliver joined-up client solutionsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through high levels of service ..... full job details .....
