Content DesignerRemote, ad hoc travel to TelfordInside IR35, 500 P/DBYOD (Bring your own device) We are currently looking for a Content Designer to join our public sector based client. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and own content for payments journeys, including making payments, resolving payment issues, refunds, and payment plans Translate complex tax, finance, and policy content into clear, plain English that users can act onDesign content across the full journey, including guidance, transactional content, error messages, and microcopy Work within multidisciplinary delivery teams (Product, Delivery, Design, Tech, Research) Use user research, analytics, and A/B testing to validate content decisions and improve completion ratesPlan, run, and interpret A/B tests on payment related content (e.g. wording, sequencing, calls to action) Iterate content based on evidence to reduce user error, rework, and avoidable contactEnsure content meets accessibility standards (WCAG) and HMRC / GDS content principlesSupport service assessments and contribute to content standards for Payments Skills and ExperienceProven experience designing content for complex digital servicesExperience working on financial, transactional, or high risk user journeys (payments, identity, compliance, or similar)Strong understanding of user centred content design and accessibility Experience using data, analytics, and A/B testing to inform and validate content improvementsAbility to work independently, manage ..... full job details .....
