      <description>Location: Bristol | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;55000/annum | Type: Permanent | CONTENT DESIGNER - -55,000 - BRISTOL - REMOTE (WITH OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO CLIENT SITE IN TAUNTON) - SC REQUIRED   MERITUS are recruiting for a  Content Designer  to join a leading organisation delivering complex  UK Central Government and Defence programmes .  This role would suit an experienced  Content Designer, UX Writer or Content Specialist  with strong writing skills, accessibility knowledge and a user-centred approach. Experience with  content strategy, user research and wider experience design  would be highly beneficial.   Responsibilities:    Create clear, accessible and  user-centred content .  Work across the service lifecycle to understand  user needs .  Shape content strategy and improve  information architecture .  Write, test and iterate content based on user feedback.  Collaborate closely with  user researchers, interaction designers and service designers .  Ensure content is treated as a core part of the  user experience .
