Content Designer - GDSUp to £460 per day (Outside IR35) Primarily remote 6 monthsMy client is an instantly recognisable consultancy who require an experienced Content Designer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering digital services. You will design clear, accessible and user-centred content, simplifying complex policy and information to create effective end-to-end user journeys.Key Requirements:Proven experience working as a Content Designer, ideally within UK Government or the wider public sectorStrong knowledge of GDS content design principles and standardsExperience designing and iterating digital content based on identified user needsStrong ability to simplify complex policy, legal and technical informationExperience using user research, analytics, feedback and data to inform content decisionsProven experience designing clear end-to-end content journeysStrong understanding of accessibility and inclusive content designExperience working within agile, multidisciplinary teamsConfident collaborating with policy, legal, operational and delivery stakeholdersExperience prototyping, testing and iterating content based on evidenceNice to have:Experience as a Content Designer within Government or a complex public-sector environmentPrevious experience delivering services within a GDS environmentExperience with GOV.UK publishing platforms or content management systemsWorking knowledge of HTML and structured contentUnderstanding of WCAG 2.2 AA and public-sector accessibility ..... full job details .....
