Container Transport Planner - London Gateway, EssexOur client who are a transport Company are currently looking for an experienced Container Transport Planner to join their team at London Gateway.As Transport Planner, you will be tasked to route plan company owned vehicles across the UK.Job type: PermanentHours: Monday to Friday 08:00- 18:00 (1 hour break)Day-to-day:Routing company owned vehiclesYou must plan routes as cost-effectively as possiblePlan routes in line with WTD and Drivers HoursEnsure all customers are kept up to dateAll necessary admin must be completedYou will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standardsPerform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies'' requirements.The Requirements:Extensive Transport route planning skillsContainer is experience requiredExcellent geographical knowledgeStrong communication skillsTOPS, Destin8 and VBS Systems knowledge - requiredWR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
