You''ll have strong communication skills, a positive and flexible attitude, and the ability to support, develop and motivate a team while ensuring the efficient planning and movement of equipment across the UK network.How you will help us and what you can expectManage individual and team performance, including goal setting, coaching and development plans.Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings with all direct reports.Build and maintain positive relationship and communication with MSC Geneva Logistics informing them of possible equipment complications that may affect the supply and demand of empty equipment.Monitor routings, stock levels, equipment releases and depot storage caps and always ensure cost effective routings while ensuring flexibility within routing plans to maximise haulage utilisation and service performance.Ensure sufficient equipment is repositioned into required locations in line with forecast demand, including Scotland.Manage the department shared mailbox to ensure all emails are answered within set deadlines.Management and monitoring of off hire and sale containers maximising volumes in line with head office requirements.Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and customer and haulier related issues.Proactively consider the equipment Empty surplus/deficit areas, communicating suggestions to ..... full job details .....
