      <description>Location: Stanford-le-hope | Salary: 30000.00-30000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Reed is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading container depot based at London Gateway, who are looking to appoint an experienced Container Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven container depot experience who enjoys working in a fast-moving and sometimes challenging environment. The role will involve assessing, recording, and estimating the condition of all containers arriving at the depot.Key Responsibilities:Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.Inspect incoming containers and accurately report on condition and grading.Prepare detailed repair estimates for damaged containers, supported by photographic evidence.Monitor and manage traffic movements within the depot to ensure safe operation.Provide clear instructions to ECH operators to support HGV operational requirements.Skills and Experience:Previous experience within a container depot environment is essential.Knowledge of IICL/CSC standards would be advantageous.Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.Experience producing damage and repair estimates is desirable.A flexible and reliable team player, comfortable in a demanding operational setting.</description>
