Container Coordinator

Edwards & Pearce are working with an international organisation to recruit a candidate with experience in international container planning and coordination

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to further develop specific skills in international shipping in a large dynamic organisation and to capitalise on your strong administrative background.

Responsibilities:
You will coordinate sea container operations ensuring effective loading plans, tracking of voyages, and manage and communicate schedules and costing across customers and suppliers internationally. Analysing and reporting on status of voyages and escalating internally if required.
You will manage records and documentation required for loading/unloading and to ensure cargo clearance.

Requirements:
* Strong liaison and relationship skills.
* Analytical, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Previous experience within shipping, logistics, supply chain operations.
* Knowledge of shipping documentation would be ideal.
