Contact Worker (Children and Families)

We are currently recruiting for a Contact Worker to support children and families by supervising contact sessions and ensuring a safe, positive environment for children during family interactions. This role would suit candidates with experience working with children, families, safeguarding, youth services, family support, or children''s social care.Key Details:Location: Brent, HA9Pay Rate: £17.85 per hour PAYEWorking Pattern: Flexible shift work, Monday to Saturday between 8:00am and 6:30pm, based on service needsStart Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities:Supervising contact sessions between children and their parents, carers, and family membersEnsuring children remain safe from emotional and physical harm during contact sessionsObserving interactions and producing accurate reports suitable for court proceedings and case recordsSupporting positive family contact and intervening where safeguarding concerns ariseTransporting or escorting children to and from contact sessions when requiredWorking closely with Social Workers and other professionals to support children''s welfareMaintaining accurate records and completing reports using internal IT systemsAttending meetings, reviews, and training as requiredRequirements:Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for business useExperience working with children, young people, or families within a statutory or voluntary settingKnowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and children''s welfare issuesStrong observation, report ..... full job details .....
