Consultation and Engagement Lead

Consultation and Engagement Lead Based in London, hybrid working Inside IR35 Length: 3 months initially An exciting opportunity for an experienced consultation and engagement professional to play a key role in ensuring the councils residents have a meaningful voice. The post provides additional delivery capacity as the Head of Insight and Engagement phases back into full-time work following an extended absence. The successful candidate will bring high-level expertise and immediate delivery capability, taking ownership of an established workload, leading key consultation projects and providing advice on complex and sensitive engagement activity. Key Responsibilities: Leading key projects: Plan, manage and deliver inclusive public consultation and engagement activity across a range of Council services and priorities Ensuring legal robustness: Ensure consultation processes meet statutory requirements, follow best practice and are robust enough to withstand scrutiny or legal challenge Advising senior stakeholders: Provide expert advice on engagement approaches for high-profile, complex and sensitive local issues, working closely with senior officers and elected Members Supporting housing engagement: Work alongside Housing colleagues to support effective tenant and leaseholder engagement, resident participation and consultation activity Turning insight into action: Oversee the analysis and interpretation of consultation feedback, ensuring residents'' views and community ..... full job details .....
