Key Responsibilities: Perform a range of Upper GI surgical procedures with a high degree of skill and care. Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior surgical staff and multidisciplinary teams. Participate in on-call rotas, ensuring timely and effective surgical interventions. Engage in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical advancements. Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and research activities within the department. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records. Required Qualifications and Experience: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Completion of higher surgical training in Upper GI Surgery.
