One Health is looking for a fellowship-trained Consultant Spinal Surgeon to support and grow the One Health Group Spinal Team.The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a private or NHS setting. You should have a professional outlook, empathetic telephone manner, and understand the importance of patient confidentiality.You should currently be in a substantive NHS post OR in a long-term locum post (more than 12 months).If not in a current NHS post, should have been a substantive NHS consultant for at least 3 years before leaving the NHS.On GMC register with no hearings or restrictions.Should have relevant sub-specialist qualifications (e.g., FRCS {orth} in Orthopaedics).Be on the specialist register.Main duties of the job
This role involves assessing and operating on NHS patients referred to One Health via the NHS e-Referral System. Appointments will be held across various outreach clinic sites, primarily in West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire. Operations will take place within a range of independent sector hospitals; therefore, the Consultant must be prepared to travel.About us

As a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at One Health, you will support and grow the Spinal team by assessing and operating on NHS patients referred through the NHS e-Referral System. All surgeons will undergo our onboarding process and obtain approval from our Clinical Governance Lead.
