This is a freelance opportunity initially for 6 months, with the potential to extend up to 12 months. The role will be based in Manchester 2 days per week, with the remaining time working from home. You will work as part of the highways commercial and governance team, providing commercial support across reactive, preventative and planned maintenance programmes. This will include carriageway resurfacing, footway improvements, drainage works and wider highway asset maintenance schemes. The role will suit a Quantity Surveyor with a strong civil engineering or highways background who is comfortable working across the full commercial lifecycle and has solid NEC4 experience.
