Consultant PsychiatristLocation: YorkSalary: £109,179 - £125,637 Pro Rata (DOE)Hours: 21 Hours per week We are working with our client, a leading provider of specialist rehabilitation services, to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist. This role will lead psychiatry provision within a multi-disciplinary neurorehabilitation setting, supporting individuals with acquired brain injury and associated conditions.The postholder will:Provide strategic and clinical leadership within a recovery-focused, bio-psycho-social model.Act as Responsible Clinician for detained patients and oversee psychiatric input for the service.Work closely with a specialist team to ensure safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.Liaise with families, external professionals and partner agencies to ensure continuity of treatment.Support, supervise and provide consultancy to medical colleagues within the service.Requirements:GMC registration with licence to practise.MRCPsych (or equivalent).Section 12 and Approved Clinician status.Strong clinical skills and experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.Commitment to collaborative leadership and service improvement.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established rehabilitation service, taking a leading role in shaping psychiatry provision and supporting people in their recovery journey.
